The Supreme Court today dismissed the review petition against the judgment in the case seeking probe into death of Judge Loya. The Bench of Chief Justice of India Dipak Misra and Justices AM Khanwilkar and DY Chandrachud stated in its order: “We have carefully gone through the Review Petition and the connected papers, but we see no reason to interfere with the order impugned. The Review Petition is, accordingly, dismissed.” On April 19, the Supreme Court had dismissed the petitions seeking an independent investigation into the death of Judge Loya.
